Volunteer Eco Students Abroad

Since 2009 VESA have provided direct action support to communities in parts of the world overlooked by traditional charities and aid organisations. Our short-term volunteer projects aim to secure the long-term social and environmental futures for these communities.

Volunteering:

With VESA there is no ‘voluntourism’, gratuitous projects or orphanage visits. Instead, we collaborate with local partners and communities to ascertain every project is sustainable and responsible.

We have been working with the same remote communities in South America, the Fiji Islands, South Africa and Southeast Asia since 2009. Integrity and respect for these communities and our volunteers is what we’re about, and we invite you to be part of our leading responsible travel projects.

A VESA project allows you to help build crucial housing and refurbish local schools, work with wildlife conservationists and promote sustainability and environmental awareness, all the while experiencing some of the world’s most remote and captivating regions. Adventure:

Adventure is at the heart of the VESA experience. Immersion in the local culture and surrounding environment grants you access to unexplored worlds and new life outlooks. When you embark on a VESA project you’ll learn and do things you never thought possible, we guarantee it! We give our VESA volunteers the chance to explore the very best of their project country. Imagine island hopping in the beautiful South Pacific, trekking through the Amazon, taking a dip in Lao’s pristine Kuang Si Falls, or coming face to face with Africa’s ‘big five’ in the wild. This is real-world experience you’ll have for life.

With VESA you can share these monumental moments with likeminded travellers, and feel confident knowing that traveling with us means being totally eco-friendly and environmentally aware at all times. We actively give back to each community by employing locals to help out on our projects, buying indigenous building materials and utilising local tour operators during all of our eco-tours.
