Conservation Volunteers International Program offers volunteer travel to some extraordinary destinations to help on environmental conservation projects. Since 2008 ConservationVIP® has led more than 1,300 volunteers on trips to some of the world’s greatest landscapes and cultural sites to work on important conservation and preservation projects. We have also helped our destinations with some special projects. This hands-on, labor-intensive work helped to protect critical habitat and biodiversity, and conserve archaeological sites of great significance. Because many of these trips have been to places which did not previously have a history of environmental conservation volunteering, we have had a longer-term cultural as well as an immediate positive physical impact.

We accomplish our mission through ordinary people performing extraordinary volunteer services. Our projects include maintaining and building trails, restoring archaeological sites, and protecting and restoring critical biological and natural habitats.
