- Day 1 - DAY 1: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA (Appx: 265kms- 5-6 hrs)
0730hrs: You shall be collected from your Nairobi area hotel / Nairobi airport / Nairobi residence
Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner
Commence the safari journey to the Masai Mara Game reserve, Kenya’s finest wildlife haven.The Nairobi -Maasai Mara drive is via the panoramic Great Rift Valley with views of subsistence farmlands and local community settlements
Along the safari route – there shall be stops to view interesting attractions including the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
At the rift valley escarpment – you shall descend to the floors of the rift valley for a further drive through Masai country as we progress to the Mara
Arrival at the Masai Mara shall be in time for lunch.
Later proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive.
Overnight at your Masai Mara safari Lodge or tented camp – choice of economy, comfort, superior comfort or luxury level accommodation
- Day 2 - DAY 2: FULL DAY – MASAI MARA
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!
The Mara as is popularly known remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.
Masai Mara reserve hosts the highest and varied concentration of wild animals than any other park in the region.
The scenic appeal of this tree studded savannah plains, its moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.
We shall traverse the reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
You shall visit the Mara river where you may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (During July –October months )

- Day 3 - DAY 3: FULL DAY – MASAI MARA
Meal plan:Breakfast,lunch,dinner
Another day full of wildlife viewing drives
You may choose to have the full day game drives or game drives in separate sessions so that you may also have a chance to enjoy lodge/camp facilities.
The driver guide shall be readily available to discuss your daily activities depending on your preferences
It is also an opportunity to experience a hot air balloon ride and float over the Masai Mara plains as you watch game (extra cost)

Important Information
This safari tour departs daily-you may set your own safari dates and book accordingly
Safari tour price is indicated in US$ – you may also book and pay in any convertible currency on-line
Indicated driving time between Nairobi and Masai Mara game park / places are estimates and may vary due to prevailing road conditions, weather and traffic density
If you are not keen on a drive in safari,(maybe due to road time) you can choose to make a 4 day Masai Mara fly in safari instead (provide link)
This safari tour is private for your party and in own 4 x 4 Jeep and dedicated tour driver/ guide – (for both road travel & game viewing drives)
You are free to choose your specific lodge / tented camp in economy, comfort or luxury accommodation options provided-(this is subject to availability)
At some points during your safari tour ,you may encounter pressure souvenir sales at areas near washroom stops and park entrance gates by local Masai people (purchases for souvenirs is optional and a polite decline shall suffice)
Your safari tour starts at 7.30AM and finish at appr.4.30PM-Pick up and drop offs are either at your hotel, residence or Nairobi airport
We realize that tour participants may wish to proceed to other holiday places after this 3 day Masai Mara safari ,we can customize your pick up / drop off to meet your specifications -you can also fly one way instead or fly direct from Masai Mara to Mombasa / Diani / Watamu or Zanzibar
If you prefer to proceed to Mombasa/Kenya coast by SGR Train immediately at end of safari on day 3, we can arrange for an early start at 5.00AM on first day of safari.
If you prefer to extend to Zanzibar, or the Kenya coast beach resorts or to simply fly to another location or home ,we shall drop you off at the Nairobi airport
You may also choose to be dropped off at the Lake Naivasha areas or at Isebania (Kenya/ Tanzania) border (extra cost for this)
