Rajasthan’s name translates to ‘The land of the kings’ and this route takes one into a time warp, exploring the timeless sands of its rural landscapes. This route begins in the capital of India, the path will then wind its way to the city of lakes and often know as 'Venice of the East', the city of lakes, Udaipur is located around azure water lakes and is hemmed in by lush green hills of Aravalli’s. The desert sands lead one to the blue city, Jodhpur, the journey further takes you to the land of Lord Brahma, the holy city of Pushkar. Now, the capital of the land of kings and the pink city, Jaipur. Further, will host you then onward via the city of victory, Fatehpur Sikri, to the home of the Taj Mahal, Agra and then back to Delhi, the capital of India to connect the flight to Home.

  • Day 1 - Home/Udaipur

    Udaipur as a city is one of India’s most beautiful sights. Focused around Lake Pichola, palace-cum-hotels are scattered around the city that is surrounded by mountains. Mewar architecture gives Udaipur a distinct aesthetic, seen most impressively aboard a boat looking toward the east bank where a series of glorious palaces stand. Alternatively, looking out from a balcony of one of these palaces the view of the two islands and their respective palaces provides an equally awe-inspiring view. Explore the local market and the surrounding.
    The guests will enjoy a private boat ride in the scenic Lake Pichola in the evening.

  • Day 2 - A sightseeing tour of Udaipur

    City Palace, comprising of eleven different palaces, it is Rajasthan’s largest palace. Next to the entrance of the City Palace stands the imposing Jagdish Temple. The beautiful ‘Saheliyon-Ki-Bari’ or the Garden of the Maidens on the banks of the Lake Fateh Sagar is a spectacular getaway. A school of Mewar style of miniature paintings near the garden is a fabulous place for souvenirs. If time permits, a trip to the magnificent Shri Eklingji Prabhu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

  • Day 3 - Udaipur - Ranakpur – Jodhpur

    This day, after breakfast, the guests will drive to Jodhpur, visiting Ranakpur en route.
    The main temple in Ranakpur, the Chaumukha Mandir is a spectacular, intricately carved testament to the skill of the Jain architects. Dedicated to Adinatha, the first Jain Tirthankara, the temple was built in the fifteenth century in milk-white marble and consists of 29 halls, 80 domes and 1444 individually engraved pillars.
    The day will begin after breakfast with a drive to the Blue City of Jaisalmer. Some say that Brahmin families began painting their homes blue, a color that denotes royalty, to distinguish themselves from the masses, before the other residents followed suit. Others suggest that the color comes from a copper sulfate-lime wash applied to deter termites. Regardless, this iconic Rajasthani town, Jodhpur is now known as India’s ‘Blue City’

  • Day 4 - Jodhpur – Pushkar

    After checkout and breakfast, drive to Pushkar, one of the two places in India, which has a temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator. Pushkar is one of the oldest cities in India. Situated at a height of 510 meters, Pushkar is surrounded by hillocks on three sides. The ‘Nag Pahari’, literally meaning Snake Mountain forms a natural border between Ajmer and Pushkar. Known as ‘the rose garden of Rajasthan’, the essence of the famous Pushkar rose is exported all over the world. Along with an interesting mythological history, a legacy of timeless architectural heritage makes Pushkar a fascinating city.

  • Day 5 - Pushkar

The view during sunset is glorious and should ideally be one of the best parts of your Pushkar tour. The beautiful view of the town from this viewpoint is a sight worth any and every effort.   • Day 6 - Pushkar – Jaipur

    After checkout and breakfast, they will drive to Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building color. At the center of its stately street grid (notable in India) stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace complex. With gardens, courtyards and museums, part of it is still a royal residence.

  • Day 7 - Jaipur sightseeing tour

    After the morning breakfast, the guests will go on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. The city is named after its founder, Jai Sing II who came to power at the tender age of 11 and became a mighty warrior. A short drive from the Amber Fort is sprawling fortress-cum-palace was once the capital of the Kachhawa Rajputs, the region’s princely dynasty, until 1727 when it was moved to Jaipur. Later on, in the afternoon, explore Jaipur’s Old City, which is a treasure trove of Rajput architecture, such as the Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, and the astronomical observatory called the Jantar-Mantar.

  • Day 8 - Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

    The guests will have breakfast, guests will drive to Agra. En route they will visit the city of victory, Fatehpur Sikri. Later, they will drive to Agra. Most are drawn to Agra by the wondrous and mysterious Taj Mahal, which is truly as breath-taking as they say, but it is by no means a stand-alone attraction. Upon arrival in Agra and check-in they may head out on a tour of the City of the Taj. Although less famous than the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort is another example of excellent Mughal architecture. With its impressive red sandstone walls this former military stronghold-come-palace was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 initially but has undergone many additions most significantly from Shah Jahan. Visit of The Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, the chief minister in the Mughal Emperor Jahangir’s court is a veritable mini Taj.

  • Day 9 - Agra – Delhi

    - The Rashtrapati Bhavan – It is the official home of the President of India located at the Western end of Raj path in New Delhi, India. Rashtrapati Bhavan may refer to only the 340-room main building that has the president's official residence, including reception halls, guest rooms and offices, also called the mansion; it may also refer to the entire 130-hectare (320 acre) Presidential Estate that additionally includes huge presidential gardens (Mughal Gardens), large open spaces, residences of bodyguards and staff, stables, other offices and utilities within its perimeter walls. In terms of area, it is the largest residence of any head of state in the world.

    -Humayun’s Tomb – Humayun's tomb is the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. it is the first garden tomb in the Indian subcontinent. The architectural genius of Humayun's tomb is hard to miss. This magnificent tomb sits in the middle of a huge, ornate Mughal Garden.

    -Qutub Minar – (240 ft.) high tower made of red sandstone and marble is not only the highest brick minaret in the world but also one of the most famous historical landmarks of India. Located in the heart of Delhi, India, this UNESCO World Heritage Site, visible from different parts of the city attracts thousands of visitors every day.
