青年education and training in Saint Lucia

This program supports a local NGO dedicated to social development for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and communities, using sport as a catalyst for change. They deliver a range of after-school programs promoting teamwork, conflict resolution and participation, through a range of life skills and sporting activities. They have trained several hundred young people as coaches in basic youth development, safeguarding and special needs participation, thereby providing employment opportunities for many young people who have benefitted from the programs they offer.

Volunteers on this project will participate in the programs on offer, working alongside the local team. Depending on a volunteer's skills and interests, they may focus on sports or classroom-based work.
