Volunteer Opportunities in Namibia

Of all the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa, Namibia is arguably the most comprehensively tourist-friendly. Not only does it have exceptional wildlife – including a quarter of the world’s cheetahs and the last free-ranging population of black rhino – and a well-developed network of parks, reserves and safari lodges, but the landscapes of its coastline and deserts are some of the most photographed and gasped over in the world, meriting a visit in their own right. Traditional culture remains strong here despite successive colonial occupations by Germany and then South Africa (Namibia gained independence from the latter in 1990) and, for many visitors, meeting the Himba people in the far north-west, or the San (formerly Bushmen) of the Kalahari, is an enriching and humbling experience. – The Telegraph

You will have the opportunity to work with people from different tribes, people with physical and mental disabilities, Children and young people, Vulnerable adults and many more people in the extremely diverse culture of Namibia.

WADADEE房子是学生家庭和宾馆居屋ting students, interns, volunteers and travelers from all over the world. We have a big outside community area with a little garden, pool, pool table and a „Braai“- (=BBQ) place. The living room with a big TV, the balcony with a breathtaking view, the dining room and the kitchen are welcoming everyone to relax, enjoy and feel home. We have a washing machine, fully-equipped self-catering kitchen and we also offer free WiFi.

We offer dormitory sleeping options with max 8 beds and bathroom and shower facilities. For those of you who prefer some more privacy, we do have single, twin, tripple and quad rooms available. Some with a private bathroom – mainly double and single rooms – and some rooms with sharing bathrooms. All our rooms are equipped with pillow, duvet and sheets, but please bring your own towels for a cooling shower or a dip in our pool!
