教育
教育volunteers are involved in teaching English, Mathematics, Life Skills, Computer Studies and other subjects to learners in various schools, introduce innovative teaching methodologies, encourage critical/innovative thinking in the classroom, and promoting inclusive classroom practices in schools.
Youth & Community Development
This volunteer programme engages volunteers in a variation of projects concerning vulnerable children and youth, promotion of child rights, youth participation and engagement, cultural exchange festival, adult literacy, health or HIV/AIDS education, environmental awareness and climate change campaigns, development of libraries and resource centres,art, recreation, Sporting and information technology.
This volunteer programmes gives volunteers with a volunteer opportunity for a minimum period of one month and qualification in a related field of interest is preferred.
Health
Health volunteers educate and promote awareness issues such as malnutrition and safe drinking water, malaria
prevention and treatment and sexual reproductive health.
Administration
Administration volunteers work in wide variety of activities in CEGI’s offices at the head office and in various districts, organising events and implementing networks with other non-governmental organizations.
Volunteering in this programme is determined by a volunteer’s qualification and skills according to our needs.
Research and Documentation
Research and documentation volunteers are involved in a wide variety of activities as data enumerators, data clerks, data analysts and also in designing and instituting new research projects.
A minimum of bachelors degree and experience in research work are preferred.
