Overview

TELL has a range of educational and outreach programs aimed at helping improve the wellbeing of individuals in our community. TELL is a mental health services non-profit with a 40+ year serving the international community in Japan. We operate an English-language Lifeline service, as well as a wide range of paid and subsidized clinical and outreach services.

While working as a phone counselor requires extensive training, we are always in need of volunteers to help us plan and execute fundraising events, and to support our efforts to build awareness of our services in the community. Examples of areas in which we are usually very happy to have a helping hand include graphic design, database management, and translation.

Our extensive outreach programs cover a wide range of issues that are important to the international community, and provide up-to-the-minute information on available resources. Our outreach programs covers the following issues and more:

• Company Stress Checks
• Suicide Awareness & Prevention
• Exceptional Parenting
• Lifeline School Awareness
• Disaster Relief & PFA
• Child Protection
• Anti-Bullying
